im gonna buy all this components: asrock 939DUAL-SATA2. DIMM 2 GB DDR-400 Kit Value. RealPower 450 vatios . Athlon 64 X2 3800+ Box. XFX 6800GS. (already have the card...) DiamondMax Plus 10, SATA II 200 GB X2. And will try to keep this machine for at last 2 years... any recomendation??? is the board safe and stable?? what about the bios??? i will not overclock anything so i wont bother on this.. im reading that some folks are having problems with this board and other just love it...
why asrock? no experience with it... how about a nice ASUS or Abit mobo.. the RAM, what brand? at least go for Corsairs or Geil..
It's cheap, that's why! Asrock has been around long enough not to make any crap by intent, so as long as overclocking isn't top priority I wouldn't hesitate to buy Asrock if they had a card that otherwise suited my desires. Cheers Olle
FYI Asrock is a subsidary of Asus The major selling points of that particular mobo is that it can take both AGP and PCI-E graphics cards (and handles it better than most other boards AFAIK) and later on there will be an add-in board to support AMD's new socket.
