Hello everyone! We are scheduling a upgrade to phpBB 2.08a at approximately 12:00 PM Malaysian Time (GMT+8), 16-06-2004. We have pre-tested the upgrade offline. So everything should work flawlessly now. The upgrading is necessary to fix security holes and some other bugs faced by certain forum users. Please do NOT be alarmed if you cannot access this forum. The upgrade should take just 2-3 minutes to complete. You will be able to access the forums thereafter. Thank you for your attention!
Sub forum? I'm not really a fan of sub forum, to me, it actually makes the forum a bit messy for navigating. Well, that is my opinion. We will have sub forum feature when the 2.2 is released, that may take sometime though.
Well, we will have to wait for v2.2, or change to another forum software. Adrian and I have discussed this matter before. We have thought of changing to Invision or vBulletin, but phpBB is pretty good so far, even though it's lacking of features. So we have decided to stick to it for now.
As long as we don't have any problem with the forums like before (when we were using phpBB 2.06), we will stick with phpBB. Hopefully they will release phpBB 2.2 soon!
