This is the aftermath of the burning motherboard and graphics card. This proves that high end motherboard are not anymore reliable than the lower end. Most of the time, you are paying for overpriced components that you are not going to utilize. But at least this one looks nice. Your overclocking will most likely not going to be any better than cheaper Z97 motherboard. I only wanted Intel LAN and FanXpert 3.
Woahhh... it really melted right where the 12V pins are on the PCI Express slot and card. Check out the diagram below.

Yeah, bummer indeed. I actually went back to water cooling on the low end system. It is a great setup, just a bit pricy. This is what I wanted before I destroy a working CPU and motherboard.
They may be trying to get it repaired. They didn't get you an indication of how long more you need to wait?
