I love Pink Floyd but don't have any of their CDs...I saw Dark Side Of The Moon at the CD store where I bought almost all of those from but it was a parallel import from China with Chinese words all over it. I thought that really doesn't do justice to such a great album so I passed. Not really a big fan of Led Zep actually...
Well if you don't care for Zep that's ok. My favorite Pink Floyd cd/albums are Meddle, Animals, And Dark Side.
Well I bought the Live 8 DVD mainly for Pink Floyd's performance Still amazing after all these years.
I have Led Zepplin IV... I love old school. I like a few Pink Floyd Songs. I also like some Black Sabbath too. My mom listened to Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd. Her two favorites back in her day.. Listening to some from The Rolling Stones too...
do u know pink floyd's dark side of the moon is based on the old movie 'wizard of oz'? btw, currently into marilyn manson's tainted love and mobscene...tht guy's pretty sick but the songs are good..
My brother has a whole set of LED ZEPPELIN - The Complete Studio Recording and he bought the whole Cream series also. And a few Jimi Hendrix CDs. Wow...
Question for you guys to ponder, especially the non-guitar players. If you could master only one song, or riff/intro/solo, what would it be? My friend posed this question to me on MSN last night. After some deliberation I picked Hotel California (the whole song). (he picked the intro of Into The Void by Black Sabbath)
either Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird, Metallica - Fade To Black or Eric Johnson - Cliffs Of Dover after some serious listening, I'll go with Eric Johnson
I forgot whether it's this song, it has a piano intro, Ride Into The Sun by Def Leppard. That intro rocks!
