Says who? With Adrian, peaz, Chai, Jeremy, Mad1, chew, Stacy and me around the InfoPop based forums, it was really happening. It just wasn't as big as what it has turned out to be here! Chew is still around but he usually visits my forum and I host Stacy's blog located at www.yeoh.us/klchew2e Back ontopic now. I found ARP through a frontpage post on ArsTechnica and suddenly fell in love with a Malaysian based community that was doing something great and wonderful. I believe it was sometime around 2000 or 2001, can't really remember. Btw Chai, do you still have access to the old forum? I can't seem to find it anymore.
Back in those days, we don't have our own server, and not even web space! Our web space was 'sponsored', and I'm not too sure about the forum (was on another server). I wasn't really into web hosting back then, I knew too little things. So the server owner was the admin, and wasn't one of the ARP crews, which is why we didn't get to backup the database.
Well, I am a cousin of Adrian and I only knew about it a few years back when her mother mentioned of the site to me, so decide to check it out, but tak perasasn got the forum, so later me got problem with my com and Adrian brought me in.
Ahhhh.....you just reminded me about the good old forum.. I think your 1st post there was answering to me looking for SETI addicts. Why Chew doesnt want to post here?
