    hey guyz,
getting a used car, but been troubled by decisions,
all have their pros and cons ... too bad the perfect civic i fould was already sold. Here are currently 3 Civic.

1998 Honda Civic EX Coupe AT (red)
2000 Honda Civic LX Sedan MT (gold-kind of silver)
2000 Honda Civic VP Sedan AT (silver)

    EX has 127hp VTEC engine
    LX & VP has 106 non-VTEC engine

    EX has moonroof
    LX, VP none

LX does not have keyless remote.
    EX, VP has

EX, LX has powered mirrors and windows.
    VP does not have

    1998 are before facelift,
2000 are faced lift models :faint:

i don't know which car to get :faint:

I'd take the EX because of the features loaded in it. But what's the mileage on it?

Then just grab the LX and fit an aftermarket immobiliser. But then again, you can shop around again anyway.

    :haha: Sorry, busy with uni.

I'd get the VP (Value Package), the moonroof & powerwindows could be added aftermarket but I think having muscle powered windows are a good thing (Less electrics, less worry.).

Hah? Muscle-powered windows in the new millennium? They should be banned.

I kinda like the 1995~1997 Civic model. Any more of these second-hand cars? They are the best one actually for casual drivers. How much is it? :)

no idea, i'm avoiding them because they are potential rusted cars

i see a lot of cars esp before 1998 models, have rust spots :p

Hmm.. I would have thought the anti-corrosion coating would be enough protection, but I guess not?

Why you want a honda anyway? So expensive here in the usa, even the used ones.:faint:

Just get a ford taurus... cheap....:thumb:

    Get a 98 Taurus SHO!:thumb:

    Other choices;

    1996 Honda Accord Coupe.

1998 or earlier Lexus ES300 (It's more than just being a Camry with more soundproofing & actual dead trees, just ask the people who drive or own it.) if you want something classy.

Acura Legend Coupe (It's a nice & luxurious Honda coupe.).

Hmmm.... Ford Pinto or a 1988 Plymouth Sundance? :p (Now, just don't kill me!)
