sherren!! You gotta stop buying new stuff and finish fixing the rest of your stuff!! You are making all of us very jealous!!
Later you will see ,check out back around 2am Heres what im gonna do now, just gotten this new keyboard, sick of the old logitech keyboard. Noticed there are holes behind the keyboard? Here's what im gonna do,Putting leds in that hole,Led size 3mm,colour> blue, usually u see at the electronic shop they are 5mm led's. I Update you guys later about 12 or 1,and also LCd Mod coming !! Stay Tune! eace:
lol.. which reminds me.. it's time i get a new keyboard... can't believe i'm still using the old windows 98 keyboard hahahaahhaaha!! it's practically!! but then again, all the keys are still working fine...gah to buy or not to buy~ eh sher ren! buy for me la xD
I use Keyboards until they stop working with one exception. Been through 3 now, and that counts the exception where I needed to replace a DIN connector KB with a PS2 connecter KB. Unfortunately, this KB that I spent $10 after more then 5 years, is dieing. But for $10, and it feeling like it would break after 2 months AND bad reviews, it really out did itself! But, it’s not made anymore otherwise I would just get the same model again as well as tell people what it is.
Heres An Update For THe Led Mod Keyboard sigh it will be great if i can spread the led lights . resistor soldered to the 3mm led's blue fitting 3mm led's into the hole ,alot of cacing i decided to put a switch Test sigh its better if the lights spread around inside,i try to find a way :w took me 2 days to do this too complicated.anyway the lcd wiring i try to do by tonight ,not sure enough time :stars: .
OMG the wires Actually you can connect it in series instead of parallel. Save you from using those resistors and perhaps it wont be that messy
ouch .. that is ugly ... you should have gone for thinner wires... if you want to connect to parellel you should have solder it to the PCB .. .. PS/2 & USB are cabale of supplying 5V go get EL wire la
Heres an update on the lcd module :hyper: I took an old printer port wire ,open up the rubber tube which wires in it Tube taken off time to cut off those unnecessary wires that we dont need. Wiring done, too lazy to sleeve Testing this 2 lines shows that the lcd is still good in condition eace: winamp Display bleh I know some pics are blur especially the lcd pics, becoz hand shake lol. anyway i try to take a better pic of the lcd once i fix it to the bezel eace:
Nice work with the LCD. But it's a parallel port to be exact, not a printer port. But, I like to be a perfectionist with PC stuff.
well still no updates exam coming, here a good program which is FREE for u all  http://sketchup.google.com ,which is easier to use than AutoCad  heres what i did for fun, kinda easy to use since i did 3d modeling before so good for modders to plan their casing 1st using sketchup
Hehe.. Got those directly from Sherren. I wonder if in the next contest, participants should create their ultimate case....
Hmmm.... I wouldn't think it would be a fair contest, though. Not everyone here has the same skills as sherren. But I guess it also depends on what prize is at stake.
