yup, that's true........the schools get the early edition let's say at print time suddenly a breaking news comes out. they'll stop print and finsh the story and print with the new ones. the old ones will be sent to schools. but this rarely happens. my friend's father told us. he works in the star

Well, one of the cheaper english newspaper i can get here in milan is International Herald Tribune from the US and now it's costs Eur 2 from a previous of Eur 1.80.....Hell, everything has become expensive bcos of the euro....

newspaper companies don't make money from the RM 1.20 you pay, it doesn't even come close to covers the costs.
I think it more than cover the cost already la... That's why they recycle the newspaper what. So, no cost for the paper.
the cost is not on the paper la... it's the ink! :duh: .. and also the sheer amount of typesetting etc...
