Well there is no .exe to run (or see) in the Avisynth 2.5 folder. I believe core files are also stored somewhere in the Windows (sub)folders. I don't know why avisynth is not running for you. I had the same problem and found it was because I had installed it to a Programs folder on a non-"C:" partition.When I ran the install with default options to C: it ran fine. Hope this helps and GL.
