Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 AF-D

    Just a brief test at f/1.8 and f/4. Can you tell which is which? I'm really impressed with the wide open sharpness of this lens, makes it completely usable. Center crop at 100%, normal sharpening settings in camera.

    But of course, the DOF will be extremely shallow.

    Yeah, the one on the right is the f/1.8. Very narrow DOF. :D

    Not the best bokeh....probably the worst bokeh I've seen.

    Oh wait, I need more close ups to see the bokeh, then can 'wokeh'. :wicked:

    But as I see it, thats quite a bit of F(ap)s already. Probably not enough though.

    Edit: DEAAAA!!!! you are both wrong, it was shot at 1.8
