    Beautifully Designed Inside and Out

The HTC One (M8 Eye) phone’s body creates a stunning and chic look. The design is an incredibly crafted, durable, high quality metal unibody that flows right up to the 5-inch, full HD (1080p) display, tapering to thinner edges, with softer curves for a smoother and more natural grip.

The HTC One (M8 Eye), supported by the Qualcomm™ Snapdragon® 801 processor with 2.3 GHz quad-core Krait CPUs with fully integrated 4G LTE, runs on Android 5.0, Lollipop. The smartphone features the all-new HTC Sense™ 6, which is completely redesigned with a cleaner, more striking visual style, customizable color themes and delivers a more intuitive, personalised user experience.

A leap forward in smartphone imaging

The HTC One (M8 Eye) brings a whole new dimension to mobile imaging by combining the world’s first smartphone with a 13 megapixel Duo Camera that features a LED Dual Flash and full 1080p HD video recording. Through this combination, the phone is able to produce a rich and high quality video, adapting to all lighting conditions. The 5 megapixel wide-angle front facing camera also captures superior selfies with ease.

The Duo Camera boasts a depth sensor in the main 13 megapixel module, capturing detailed depth information from a scene and enabling a range of beautiful and creative effects that allow you to create a vibrant atmosphere to your existing pictures.

Instantly create professional-looking portraits by altering the focus of your image after the photo has been taken with UFocus™ or make your subject stand out in a more surprising way by altering the background with creative effects using Foregrounder. You can also give your best shots a seasonal flavor using the Seasons animations. Copy & Paste lets you place your family and friends in a different photo entirely, while Dimension Plus™ presents a unique perspective on your photos by letting you view your image from a different angle by simply tilting the screen.

The advanced camera technology also works behind-the-scenes, capturing images right from launch so that when the shutter is activated, the sharpest possible image is instantly displayed. The camera autofocus operates at a speed of 300 seconds, producing beautifully crisp images of split-second action, the intelligent LED Dual Flash automatically selects the exact color tone and light intensity for more natural skin tones and a professional-looking shot.

With various tools available to create exciting imagery, Gallery organization has also been a priority for the designers of HTC Sense™, who have introduced Image match, a visual search tool that intuitively moves all the photos containing a particular subject into one album.

Finally the new HTC One (M8 Eye) has also integrated Slow Motion mode, which lets you shoot HD slow-mo video and edit the video so you can slow down the action at at your desired timing – perfect for adding drama or highlighting a moment.

HTC EYE Experience: Designed for you

It’s not just about the hardware though. The HTC Eye Experience takes mobile imaging software into a new league with unique features guaranteed to make you look your best.

Taking video chat and conference calls to a new level of quality and performance, The HTC Eye Experience’s face tracking keeps you perfectly framed at all times. Staying in touch means more than just talking to a single person, up to four people in the same room can also be tracked comfortably, with each face cropped and positioned on the screen for maximum clarity. That being said, the smartphone allows you to enjoy the freedom and flexibility of services like Skype without worrying about exactly where you or your friends are standing, as the camera will track your movements. Want to share even more on the move? The option of screen sharing brings desktop functionality to smartphone-based video chat for the first time.

The HTC Eye Experience opens up a new world of creative opportunity, thanks to the new Split Capture function. Combining simultaneous photos and videos taken on the front and back cameras into one split-screen image or video, this creates a new selfie experience, allowing you to document your journey and your reaction without relying on thumbnail views.

Crop-Me-In places you at the heart of the action by cropping you from the image or video taken with the front-facing camera and positioning it within the scene captured by the main camera, opening the door to more extreme, exciting selfies and videos.

Voice Selfie removes the need for awkward hand contortions by enabling you to trigger the shutter release with a simple command. Simply “say cheese” as soon as you’ve struck the perfect pose or trigger the video recording with “action” or “rolling” commands. Face fusion is a feature that allows you to merge your face with that of a friend or celebrity for a completely original look and Live Makeup, where you can set the desired level of skin smoothing and preview the effect in real-time before the image is captured.
