It depends. Angry Birds HD for ipad costs $5, and Seasons HD costs another $2. Not negligible especially after converting to RM. Android version is 'paid' by having in-game ads, which is very annoying. Nothing a modded HOSTS can't solve.

I just got Angry Birds for free from the Android Marketplace, as I'm testing my mother's new Sony Ericsson Xperia x8. It did went jerky on some levels but overall it's fine.
I don't think it's a demo version - it's a full version. Only the difference is there's ads on top. Annoying but have to make do with it.
Take some time off and when you go back, try something different. Sometimes, you just need to do something really different to get past the level.
Yeap! Once I spent the whole 5 hours in library trying to clear a stage, got so frustrated, went back to studying for another 5 hours. Before I left for home, tried again and I cleared it in just one attempt, makes me hate myself for that wasted 5 hours.
