I have this old Aztech DSL 906 EU ADSL LAN + USB modem. It works fine with my desktop on Windows XP (set to assign IP automatically) but it refuses to work with my laptop with Windows Vista. It keeps giving me limited connectivity issues since it can't assign an IP to my laptop. Using the USB connection does not solve the problem. Please help. Thank you.
Try setting your laptop's LAN connection to a fixed 100mbps connection, instead of the usual Auto option. You can do that in the LAN driver properties page.
