best sata dvd burner

    Are these SATA DVD burner as cheap as IDE? if so, it's worth getting one of these.

    But too bad my Biostar 6100 board doesn't have more than 2 SATA ports.

    Anyway, any good recommendations for a PCIE -> SATA card ?

    bought a LG H62N for RM88

    burn a dozen od dvd and everything fine..but as long so cheap i dun care :mrgreen:

    I heard that Pioneer is one the best available but recently its price dropped a lot, how is its quality. Haven't try it out yet. Here are some brands to avoid:

    Samsung: tray problem
    Sony: Disc compability issues

    You can't go wrong with a Lite-On.
    They are very reputable. :)
