I don't have a laptop, so i don't need a laptop back pack.
I'm neither thirsty, so i don't need a sports tumbler.

But, i need something else.
I'll give you a clue, i have a spare SATA connector in my PC and i don't have a use for it right now.

Can you help me out?

i are be needing that hard drive because it's running out of space.... i even had to modify windows 3.1 to run half life 2 in the 1gb drive i'm using now

 

now for a real reason why i need a new drive

my western digital 160gb pata drive is faulty and has corrupted my data.. it sucked

i had a REALLY witty response that you would laugh your ass off at, but then my current hard drive did not want to be replaced, so it changed the message to a garbled one of saying that i did not want a new one. i then beat it into submission and it allows me to type my reason, but we both forgot the really witty reason.

but they can't hold barracudas away from me

(hint: its a really bad pun on sea- gates and holding in of large fish)

 

a poem dedicated to seagate

once upon a time, there was a man
named cirthix, he had a good plan.

he joined a forum, seeing a mod's sig
he noticed a contest, a fight for a gig.

well, it wasnt jsut one,
(it was a score of scores)
so he joined in the fun

he made lots of reasons
his old hdd commited treason,
deleting his saved comment
he went on to lament
then beat his old drive
in fact, it's no longer alive!

so this poor man is out of a disk
pleadiing on a forum, hoping his lack will be brisk

competing to make the mods laugh a lot,
he came up with a plot!
he must make up a poem, one of great humor
it neednt not be true, it could just be a rumor

so the poem came to be,
pleading to get a drive for free.
he made up an odd story,
trying to get a drive full of glory

four hundred gigabytes of space
so full of emptyness, so full of grace
so large in its magnificence,
such a perfection of science,
with sata as its interface,
the drive knows its place,
right on top of the old one,
copying data is it is spun
transfering my files,
ship it to my home, in the isles
this is the drive for me
it was made to be

i need a new drive because...

well, its a long story, it started out in an ocean of floppy creatures, then a great quantum rift opened in the sky and out came a fireball . the floppy creatures came out of the water and evolved into raptors, then after millions of years, cheetahs . then the world was flooded because out of the blue (haha, great pun lol), a sea-gate opened in the deep. this flooded the world with water, and barracudas ruled the world. these barracudas ate everything in sight, destroying their competition. my old caviar drive from the west was eaten by the new barracudas, and it was broken to bits, dissolved, and reformed into a new 400gb sata seagate drive. then i woke up, but i knew it wasn't a dream because i had a new 400gb sata seagate drive sitting on my doorstep (some wish ful thinking here XD)

all right. One more entry from me. It took me quite a long time to finish it. I was originally work on the words as I didn't see anyone writting the "rap" lyrics but then I found few of guys have wrote a poem/lyrics. Then, I went to do some audio type of the thing. I am putting both of them here, hopefully it's good enough.

I'm hungry...very hungry! If only I got myself a Barracuda,...yes, the one that gives me 400,000mb!... no other 'fish' in any ocean could satisfy my need! My need is really big!... and the urge is getting stronger by the day as now I'm playing more, exercising my fingers more and juggling my drives more! Sigh! If only I have that mouth watering Barracuda, I will never find my system quite connected...

I'm a "bit" collector, i have weakness to "zeros - 0" and "ones - 1".

Did you know that on a 400GB ard Drive you can put: 3435973836800 bits???

I deserve the Barracuda 400GB Hard Drive as i want to enter the Guiness Book as the person with Largest Bit Collection in the World.

I Deserve the Barracuda 400GB Hard Drive because:

Barracuda H.D rocks.
Another great H.D from Seagate.
RPM of 7200 is more than enough.
Remarkably silent.
Appears to be the best H.D in the market.
Can be mine (for free).
Unbelievable size of 400GB.
Data is always safe in it.
And that's it.

(I even managed to have kind of rhyme at the end )
