Ah crap, I'm supposed to take some pics of the house for my friend too... Tell you what, I'll put that down on my "Post-exam To-Do List" with all the other stuff and get back to you in a week or 2.
Lazy to click back to first page... 1) Did you mention what course you are studying? What course? 2) You've been to Malaysia before? 3) Hey... about the "girl", don't give up even if it takes you years. If she's worth it, why not? 4) Sp, it's not a good idea to migrate to Australia? How about a visit to Australia? Any interesting place? 5) Show us your system's specs. 6) So, what do you normally do everyday? How about telling us what you do normally with your 24 hours? 7) How many more years to go with your studies?
1) Er...I also can't remember Anyway, I'm doing a Commerce course focussing on Marketing and Electronic Business. 2) Many times. Been to Johor Bahru (duh ), KL (once only I think), Tioman (3 times), Melaka (4-5 times), Pulau Redang (once), Penang (once). I think that's it. 3) Thanks, I'll remember that 4) Well...it depends on which part of Australia you want to migrate to, and what kind of lifestyle you want/enjoy. As a city boy, Melbourne or Sydney would probably be ok but Perth (and the other quieter parts of Aus) just drive me nuts sometimes. Interesting places? If you like nature, then there's lots of places to visit here in Perth. King's Park is quite nice, the beaches are great in summer, and if you take a drive further down south there's lots of coastal towns and wineries to visit. 5) Ehehe..ok P4 2.4B @ 3.15GHz using XP-90 Asus P4P800S-SE 2x512MB Corsair Value Select @ 217MHz 2.5-3-3-8 GeCube 9600XT 128MB <- can't wait to get rid of it. I've got a 9700 Pro on its way in the post 100GB in 2 Seagate Barracudas (IDE) LiteOn 52x32x52 CD-RW Ricoh MP5240A DVD burner (8x read, 4x burn) All powered by my new Enermax PSU. 6) Er.....bum around, mostly. I'm on holidays now so I got a lot of free time. Mostly reading/posting on forums, messing around with my PC and a bit of gaming. And last night I went to the casino with my friends. 7) 1.5 years more.
Ok...as promised, pictures of my house. Pic 1: The PC room Pic 2: Formal dining area Pic 3: Kitchen Pic 4: This is the passageway that you will see when you enter the house. On the left is the lounge, further on is the area in pic 2, and to the right of that are the bedrooms. Pic 5: The lounge. I stood next to the TV to take this picture but soon we're going to move it onto the left where the photos now are. Samsung 29", if anyone's interested (since it's not shown) More pics to come in a minute...
First 2 are pics of my room. And the last one needs no explanation, I'm sure Just to give you an idea of the layout...you can see the PC room in the background. I was standing on the right side of this part to take the kitchen - previous post, 3rd pic.
WOW!! Looks very nice! Very neat! What kind of house is this? Who's responsible for the decorations, et. al.?
It's a bungalow, which is pretty standard in every Australian suburb. 8000 sq feet (a little on the large side ), on a hill...I have some pictures of the front of the house that I'll post later on. The previous owner is responsible for the curtains and pelmets that you see in pics 1, 3 and 5. As I understand it, she helps to decorate display homes so having good taste and good decor was part of her job. Other than that and the oil painting you see in the first pic, we chose and bought everything else.
Ok...more pics. Pic 1: Front of the house, from the right side (or left. whatever) Pic 2: The back Pic 3: (see IMAG0135.jpg, I don't know why it's not loading properly ) Front, from the left. That long driveway separating the 2 houses is also our land. We have since added a gate. Pic 4: The view from the front of our house. There's more houses now, in place of that patch of empty land. Pic 5: Here is a pic of my "other half" (or some of it anyway), as requested by Jeremy
Thanks Well the WA property market is lagging far behind the rest of Australia; they paid A$320,000 for it. Compare that to Singapore where you would only be able to get a 4/5-room public housing flat in a prime area for that amount of money
Australia is a nice place. I might migrate there in the future [ will keep in my wish list ] . Very nice home you got there. Damn veyr nice!
I used to be...but I spent $250 in the last 2-3 weeks (possibly more next week) so now I have to join you, dash, angel, and akho and look towards the horizon...
