I think porn is just entertainment, more specifically, personal entertainment. I don't see it serves much purpose except help you release your sexual urgest

LOL! I meant look beyond the entertainment. Can porn do more than just entertain? Okay, some people claim that porn encourages people to act out their urges and therefore should be banned. Do you think that's true? Or is it really the opposite? Can porn help slake the urge? In other words, will porn turn you into someone obsessed by sex or will it help you control your urges or obsession with sex? It's an interesting question because many people probably assume that rapists or "sexual deviants" are those who watch too much porn. I just wonder if that's true. Or can people actually live out their fantasies in porn and leave it there? Essentially slaking their thirst with porn, so to speak?
nah, i think it's more than just porn. We can't blame everything on others. Like blaming video games help promote violence, having coke machine in the school is hte cause of overweight. Some thing are just way out of proportion. I think generally porn is fine, don't get too obsess with it and use it as entertainment. I think whatever it is, it's still fantasy, real thing/real life is different.
We shouldn't just assume all rapists watch too much p0rn, because they might just be those who don't watch enough p0rn
IMHO i think it's just a matter of the viewer's mentality, sick people watch porn and commit sexual crime, normal people who watch just TFK or have sex with their partner. the thing that differentiates both porn watching parties is that one knows how to control themselves and the others don't. even if you show a cucumber to the mass some just take it as what it is (a plain cucumber) and some thinks "differently". to me a cucumber is just a cucumber.
No-no.. I'm NOT blaming porn. But evidently, some people do. Hehe.. I'm just wondering if the OPPOSITE is true. Could porn be helpful in reducing sex crimes? Could porn be a safe outlet for "deviant sexual fantasies"? Then again, what's deviant today is normal practice tomorrow... and vice versa.
I don't think those crimes have to do with porn. I mean, I watch it and you don't see me going out and f any girls on sight. It's all about your upbringing and I think how our goverment see porn as something dirty is quite sad. But what to do... we are a conservative country. As long as those people don't go and watch those S&M type of porn, then should be ok. Sometimes I wonder, what's so good about S&M? DYKT: It can go to the extend of killing your partner to achieve orgasm? Read that from books when I was little. LOL! Watch porn everyday, tfk everyday... where got time to think about rape la...
