just bought a new laptop. the specs says it's running on intel GMA X3100 but when i check the system properties it says GM965. Are GM965 and x3100 the same? or have i been cheated?

The chipset is GM965. The integrated GPU is called X3100. The motherboard model is another thing altogether.
