    Why 9.5x? Wow...3GHz... not bad...

I think 3GHz is pretty common for a Brisbane... saw many of them did 3GHz. However for PowerSlide's 3600+ its still a pretty good oc I would say because it only needs 1.45V to be stable @ 3GHz. Others usually need ~1.5V or more.

It would be interesting to see how your chip does with higher voltage

Holy moly! 3Ghz at only 1.4V. waaaaaaaaaaay nice OC. I'm using my X2 4200+ at 2.7ghz daily use but I need to use 1.6V.

Congrats for cool overclock! How does it compete with the Core 2 Duo E6300? :D

ive no idea..but from wat i read clock to around 2.8 its as fast as e6600 in STOCK clocks :haha:
  12. hey all, its me again lol.
nice overclock, you're making me jealous now...

i recently built a new computer with this same processor, and im only at 2.5ghz...i cant seem to get any higher, it's at [email protected] right now.

actually i have gotten it up to [email protected], but one day bios just reset, so im going slower this time around.

i cant seem to get it stable though, running orthos blend test and folding at the same time :(

    hi there

whats ur pc spec? list out ur mobo and all other stuff :thumb:
  14. hmm
    abit nf-m2 nview w/ 1.4 bios
    AMD Athlon x2 3600+ @ 280x9.5
    2gb ocz OCZ2P800R22GK
    thermalright xp-90
    vcore: 1.40
    ram: 2.25v, 4-4-4-15 (stock)

i really cant think of anything else right now, ask me for any other info...i read that ocz's quality has sunk quite a bit.

i think that its my ram, since right now im running [email protected], vcore of 1.35
im running the small FFT test on orthos, where it only tests the cpu, no errors yet

I'm trying to overclock my 3800+ in stock HSF - how far it'll go? :)
