    Try updating your bios.

    Most likely driver problem...

You have to figure out what's the PCI device that is causing the problem.

Since it's a notebook, try turning off the WiFi and Bluetooth modules. Usually, there's a hardware switch to do that.

    here's the spec

    Windows XP Pro SP2
Intel Core Duo T2250 1.73 GHz
    2GB RAM
    Intel GMA950
    Intel Wireless 3945A/B/G
    60 GB HDD
    Realtek HD AUDIO ALC883
    DVD/CD combo

I have unplugged the WiFi, still hang. No bluetooth.
bios last year updated it, should be the latest

how to find out which is which ? 00F0B?

Hmm... Then it cannot be a dead/malfunctioning WiFi module.

Could be the RAM. Maybe you should try to scan the RAM using Memtest?

Sorry, find out what is which?

I wonder why is there always issue with the modem..I actually google your problem but can't find the correct error.most results shows that it's either bios or some driver error =/
