anyone care to explain about My laptop has been hang every time I start my computer, and I mean it as a minute or two after entering windows. When I press F8 to enter safe mode, I got those message.
Most likely driver problem... You have to figure out what's the PCI device that is causing the problem. Since it's a notebook, try turning off the WiFi and Bluetooth modules. Usually, there's a hardware switch to do that.
here's the spec Windows XP Pro SP2 Intel Core Duo T2250 1.73 GHz 2GB RAM Intel GMA950 Intel Wireless 3945A/B/G 60 GB HDD Realtek HD AUDIO ALC883 DVD/CD combo I have unplugged the WiFi, still hang. No bluetooth. bios last year updated it, should be the latest how to find out which is which ? 00F0B?
Hmm... Then it cannot be a dead/malfunctioning WiFi module. Could be the RAM. Maybe you should try to scan the RAM using Memtest? Sorry, find out what is which?
to find out which pci on that location. but nevermind, sorta fix it, reinstall the modem driver after disabling modem and LAN, for now its ok
I wonder why is there always issue with the modem..I actually google your problem but can't find the correct error.most results shows that it's either bios or some driver error =/
