Alrite as you can see, the port is closed. So the question is How do i open the port for my torrent.I already tried portforwarding...
but i am using dynamic IP address.. (streamyx 512 package) so i can`t have a static IP address.. My upload is higher than my Download and my ratio is already 4 ++ :( i am donating more than wat i received  I am using Utorrent

OR it is just working fine,, i tried port 80

Are you using the Aztech modem which terrorkom provided? The user interface looks exactly like the Aztech ones. I was using the modem and I had similar problems too. Although I already did the port forwarding in the modem, the ports are still blocked :wall: No matter what I do I never managed to solve the problem until the modem died and terrorkom provided me a different modem :wall:

Could be the firmware problem as I've encountered earlier because the port doesn't open properly eventhough the custom rule has been set. Anyway you can try upgrading to the exact firmware version: 38.53.1-002 but if you don't know what you're doing, don't bother cause you're most likely to end up killing your modem like I did but I manage to revive it later on.

dont bother forwarding the ports, just cap your upload speed 15-20 kB

    or

    download speed = 999999999 kB (9x) lol
    upload speed = 17-20 kB

    might works :haha:

You should always forward ports, if not, you will not be getting from all the sources.

You can't make yourself using static IP. And there's no reason to have a static IP unless you are running a server or something.

No there's no need to portforward. Do you have any firewall running?

i go get some firewall software and see what happens

Try removing all firewall, don't use them first until you solve the problem.

If there's a problem with that port, try using a different port.

Everyone using ADSL have a dynamic IP. Port forwarding has nothing to do with your modem's actual IP on the Internet. What you need is your PC's IP on your own network.

So, find out what your PC's IP is by using ipconfig in the Command Window and set that in as the Destination IP.
