Yup, I never bother going to PC Fair to get notebooks. The prices are usually the same, they just give more useless freebies.

Really?? I usually wait for PC Fair... although I did get my ASUS F8Vr notebook during a promotional fair at Low Yat Plaza. If not because of the freebies (and free upgrades), it is also because they will absorb the credit card charges during such promos.

Well, it's not like they will give discount if I pay cash. That's why I don't usually see the benefit, and not especially when the crowd is crazy. I purposely went to Lowyat during PCFair to avoid the crowd, and bought a notebook there instead. :haha:

Hehe.. It's not like I have that much cash. That's why I prefer to pay by card.

Hmm.. I suppose they would probably offer the same deal?

Now that PC Fair is in KLCC, I actually prefer to go there since all I have to do is take the LRT directly to KLCC.

one thing about PC Fair is often their offers can extend beyond it.

for example, PC Fair KL would've ended today but that doesn't mean PC Fair season is over. Shops could possibly extended whatever the offer that they have.

That's true. Even Dell extends their offer beyond PC Fair. :)

even back at 2006, the pc fair was much better on offering variety model.
