i've been trying to instal the Radeon driver.. after it had been installed.. i restart ... right before the windows logon screen i get a BSOD 0x0000007E sometimes 0x000000c2 .... now i can see Disply Adapters > Radeon 9600 Series - Secondary > Standard VGA Graphics Adapter (with the !)
yes.. i did everything after doing to many thing i tried chai's advise.. tried catalyst 5.13 .. then next reboot smae problem .. dont even know do what until not manage to get it running .. rebooted millions of time .. wondering if my hard disk is dying from that now
I had similar problem... Removed all drivers with the ATi remover tool and loaded original 3.7 (I think) and no more problem.
i want to make sure i can use WDM .. can Omega support WDM ? .. .. even the CCC wont work properly.. i cant get the main display ... i'vfe installed a seperate Ati Control Panel instead :Wall:
You know, I do hate nVidia/love ATi ... but their CCC ist for sure one of the most stupid things ever "invented" ... Like Chai said, go get Omega instead, afair there's no prob using ATi's "original" WDM-driver in addition with it.
Woi Dashken... Don't go out of topic!! Hehe.. Okay, I suggest you skip the ATI driver and get the Omega driver.
