Any wine lover here? I love cheap wines (can't afford expensive ones) and smooth ones and those which is not so dry and sour. Any recommended ones? Maybe around $8-$15. There's one I'm sticking to at the moment which is cheap and smooth for me, St. Joseph. I'd love to make wine tasting a hobby but this is too expensive to be made as one, for me at least. Please do share your favourites, preferably with pictures.
I for myself am not into wine nor any other alcohol, but we do serve, for example, those three for friends ... I don't know how they taste but our guests like them and most of them do know "how wine should taste". ^^ l.t.r: Rivaner, Beerenauslese, Weingut Walzer, EUR 23.56 Schilcher, Spätlese, Weingut Strohmaier, EUR 8.87 Riesling Kabinett, Kremser Kobl, Weingut Walzer, EUR 9.99 PS: I dun even know if they're sold outside of Austria, but ...
If it's available there, try Sol de Espana. It's a bit dry and sour but definitely sweet. And very cheap too!
For me my favorite is the California Zinfandel (The one I had was a 98 Fetzer Valley Oaks Zinfandel it cost like 8 Pound Sterling), I remember it as rich, fruity with a smell of oak. I can hardly find any here. Did manage to get one from a warehouse sale from another wine maker a 96 one.
Umm.. for wine around that range, i think u can try Penfolds, they have quite a wide range, even the affordable range doesn't taste that bad. It's quite smooth.
My boss love Penfolds, every company dinner or party also Penfolds (cheap mah, save the best for himself).....sien
Eh, sure or not? Last time I went you didn't open also. I like many types of wines but nothing beat FREE wines...
