Dog names from like movies and stuff, for example i have a box named brain (from inspector gadget), another server named astro(from the jetsons), my workstation is named copernicus(from back to the future) Chai: Funny you should mention that eddy is a dog from Frasier but the real dog's name is moose, and i have a spare workstation that i call moose
LOL!! That's a good way. Why not use vowels for the last letter? Like Falcona, Falcone, Falconi, Falcono, Falconu.
I try to use more descriptive names though. Like Adrian's Joybook (for my notebook) and Adrian's Inspiron (for the other notebook) cause my brother (and sometimes, other people as well) use the same network.
I use descriptive names like Desktop1, Dell610, etc... Like Adrian said, networking without good naming can get rather ugly.
Actually I only typed in MCB, the rest are added by OS itself and I didn't bother It doesn't matter to me, since there are only two person in the network.
